Know what you are replacing
Version and fault checks are planned to keep the kit limited to a measured gear problem rather than any stuck arm.

ArmMend / For Eilik ↗
If your Eilik's arm buzzes but will not lift, a damaged servo gear is one possible cause. ArmMend proposes a replacement micro gear and organizer for a repairer to use if the fault and part fit are confirmed. It is unbuilt, untested and not for sale.

Sound familiar?
You try a restart and watch Eilik move again, but the same arm sits motionless or makes a grinding sound. The next step is knowing what actually failed and whether support, a complete servo or a small-part repair makes sense.
For an out-of-warranty Eilik with a confirmed gear failure, a future ArmMend pack could put the measured part and a numbered gear tray in one place. A qualified repairer could keep the tiny pieces organized, fit the right gear and check the arm's movement before returning the robot to use.
Would this help your setup? →Designed with your day in mind
These are design goals for a future kit; no gear fit, repair result or durability has been demonstrated.
Version and fault checks are planned to keep the kit limited to a measured gear problem rather than any stuck arm.
A numbered tray is intended to reduce confusion while an experienced repairer works through the gear train.
If a compatible repair proves successful, the owner could keep their robot rather than replace it. That outcome has not been tested with this concept.
Picture the routine
Here is how the proposed design would fit into your day.
Check warranty status and ask Energize Lab support about the symptom before opening the robot.
If a qualified repairer confirms the exact gear fault and version, compare a future measured ArmMend part with the existing service and servo options.
If testing validates the kit, a repairer would organize the tiny gear train, fit the part and check movement before normal use.

Want to explore the evidence or build something like this?
Read the Eilik product idea report ↗No. A motor, cable, controller or other part may be responsible. The proposed first kit would only address a measured gear fault in a confirmed compatible standard Eilik arm servo.
No fit has been tested. The initial research focuses on the standard Eilik with EM3 servos. Eilik Silver is advertised with an EM3A system and is outside the proposed first scope.
Contact Energize Lab support first. ArmMend is being explored for diagnosed out-of-warranty repairs by people equipped for fine mechanism work; opening a robot can cause damage and may affect available service options.
No. ArmMend is an independent concept that has not been built, tested, endorsed or offered for sale. Joining the interest list expresses interest only.
