The role decides the winner.

Choose Loona for movement, games, camera access, and a richer family companion experience. Choose Eilik for a compact personality robot that costs far less and works without internet in its base configuration.

Decision analysis

Loona is an experience; Eilik is a presence.

Loona can follow activity around the room, play prop-based games, respond through multiple senses, and act as a mobile camera. Eilik stays put and focuses on reactions, expressions, and small physical moments.

That narrower role is not automatically a weakness. Eilik is easier to place, easier to understand, and less demanding of the home environment.

The privacy gap is as large as the price gap.

Loona's camera, microphones, Wi-Fi, account, remote access, and connected AI deserve indoor-camera controls. Base Eilik does not need internet and has no camera.

Adding Eilik AI Station changes that conclusion because the accessory introduces a camera, app, face recognition, and connected conversations.

Choose the base product, then assess accessories.

Loona bundles can change what arrives in the box. Eilik marketing may show AI Station abilities that the base robot does not have. Compare the exact package at checkout rather than the broadest feature reel.
