FoldQuest / For Eilik ↗

A new arena. A new route. Then fold it away.

Give your Eilik and Panxer somewhere new to play. FoldQuest is a proposed set of folding walls you can arrange into routes and hiding places, then pack flat when the floor belongs to everyday life again.

  • For owners of Eilik with Panxer and its controller; these are not included.
  • Four folding wall modules, three layout cards and one storage sleeve.
  • Floor-level scenery with no attachment to your robot or app setup.

Free to join. No payment or commitment to buy.

A schematic Eilik on Panxer follows an open route between folding scenery modules; an inset shows the kit packed flat. The route illustrates manual play, not autonomous navigation.

Sound familiar?

Ready to play. What will you build around it?

You could gather boxes, rearrange toys or drive across an open floor. FoldQuest offers another option: a small set of reusable scenery with layouts ready to try.

Open the panels, pick a route and take the controls. Move a wall for the next round. When you finish, fold the pieces into a sleeve instead of keeping a miniature battlefield assembled.

Designed with your day in mind

Make the room part of the game.

A repeatable setup for the play you already enjoy, with space to invent your own layout.

01

A different route each round

Rearrange a small set of scenery to change the space you drive through.

02

Less setup from scratch

Layout cards are designed to give you a starting point, with room to invent your own.

03

Give the floor back

A folding design aims to keep the next game ready without storing an assembled arena.

Picture the routine

Open. Arrange. Play. Pack away.

Here is how the proposed design would fit into your day.

  1. 01

Clear a level indoor floor and open the four wall modules.

  2. 02

Choose a layout card, leave generous driving gaps and play with your existing controller.

  3. 03

Change the layout between rounds, then fold the panels into their sleeve.

What would come in the kit?

Four folding wall modules, three illustrated layout cards and a flat storage sleeve. Your Eilik, Panxer, controller and clear floor space are supplied separately.

Can I use it with Eilik alone?

The proposed layouts are for Eilik mounted on Panxer. A standalone Eilik does not gain mobility from this kit. Compatibility with other robots or vehicles is not claimed.

Would it add new game modes?

It would change the physical scenery around your existing play. It would not change firmware, unlock modes, add scoring or control the robot.

Would the walls block battle shots?

That needs a real-hardware test. Material, wall height, shot angle and reflections can affect cover. The illustrations show arrangement and movement, not verified battle performance.

Why not use cardboard boxes?

You absolutely can try boxes first. FoldQuest would need to be easier to set up, reconfigure and store to justify buying it. If your current scenery works well, you may not need this kit.

Where would I use it?

On a clear, level indoor floor with generous driving gaps and supervision appropriate to the robot's instructions. The walls are scenery, not a containment barrier, ramp or protection against falls.

What still needs to be tested?
  • Actual robot clearances, wall stability and battle-cover behavior need prototype testing.
  • Use on a clear indoor floor; the scenery is not a ramp, safety barrier or new game mode.
