Measure the usable surface after monitors, keyboards, mugs, cables, and chargers are in place. A stationary companion may deliver more value than a walking robot if the available area is small or frequently changes.

The most impressive capabilities may belong to a bundle rather than the base product. Add the station, dock, host computer, shipping, duties, replacement cables, and likely subscriptions before comparing totals.
Also examine update history, current app compatibility, warranty service, replacement-part availability, and what happens if a cloud feature closes. A robot pet is partly an ongoing software relationship.
