Important limitations
- KAMOMO does not drive around the home, patrol rooms, or operate as a remote monitoring camera.
- The former Basic configuration is no longer listed in the official store. Pro costs $279.99 and includes the charging base; the current fur bundles cost $295.99 or $311.99.
- Average battery use is documented at about 2.5 to 3.5 hours, and Ropet recommends keeping the companion on its charging base when practical.
- The optional Dream Sketch feature changes the otherwise local processing model by sending an enabled image to the cloud.

Place the charging base in a stable location and fully charge KAMOMO.
Install the app only if you want personalization or optional connected features, then review camera and microphone permissions.
Introduce touch and accessory interactions gradually and observe which routines become repeatable.
Leave Dream Sketch disabled unless cloud image processing is useful and acceptable in the household.

Privacy and connectivity
Local daily interaction is the key differentiator, but the camera still matters.
KAMOMO contains a camera and microphone even though its ordinary daily interactions are described as local. Placement and household consent still matter.
Ropet says Dream Sketch is optional and manually enabled, with the selected photo encrypted and uploaded for cloud generation. That exception should be considered separately from local behavior.
Keep the robot out of routinely private areas, review app permissions, and disable optional cloud features that do not add enough value.
